About the Series
Installed in 1928, the Robert Morton pipe organ at Warnors Theatre was designed to serve as a complete “unit orchestra,” capable of producing everything from delicate flute tones to powerful brass and percussion effects. Originally built to accompany silent films, the organ remains in its original home and continues to inspire audiences nearly a century later.
The Robert Morton Organ Series is dedicated to preserving this remarkable instrument and sharing its unique sound with new generations of listeners. Through a variety of themed programs, Cactus Harris brings the organ’s rich history and expressive range to life.
